“Art therapy uses active art-making, the creative process, and applied psychological theory – within a psychotherapeutic relationship – to enrich the lives of individuals, families, and communities” (AATA, 2022).

“Art therapy is used to improve cognitive and sensorimotor functions, foster self-esteem, self-awareness, cultivate emotional resilience, promote insight, enhance social skills, reduce and resolve conflicts and distress, and advance societal and ecological change” (AATA, 2022).

Individual Therapy

It requires courage to seek help. Together, we can discover what has been keeping you stuck and create a systematic plan to move you forward. My clients typically begin seeing changes in their lives within 1-2 sessions and continue working with me so they can progress over time. Individual therapy is only available in North Carolina at this time.

Group Therapy

You are not alone. Oftentimes people feel like they are the only ones who feel, think, and behave the way they do. I coordinate groups based on themes I hear from individuals struggling with similar things so they may learn from one another.
Group therapy is only available in North Carolina at this time.

Pricing: We take insurance, but in case you are paying out of pocket, pricing is below.

$75 / 60 min- Minimum 4 weeks required

Supervison

Imposter syndrome and burnout were my greatest obstacles on my way toward becoming a therapist. We will work through these challenges together as you develop into an awesome therapist! I am a board-certified art therapist, and I have been intensively trained in DBT. I offer a weekly group supervision course at a reduced rate for students who join my individual supervision practice.

Pricing:

$150 individual, $75 dyadic, $50 group

Family Art Therapy

In family therapy, I use talk therapy to help family members better understand each other and improve how they interact in everyday life. Together, we focus on:

  • Building empathy among family members

  • Identifying triggers that lead to conflict

  • Recognizing long-standing patterns, misunderstandings, and misconceptions

This process strengthens family connections and enhances existing skills. Family therapy can be especially helpful for families facing mental health, behavioral, or substance use challenges.

As an objective facilitator, I provide a neutral space where everyone feels heard, valued, and accepted. The main goals of family therapy include:

  • Improving communication and problem-solving skills

  • Setting healthy boundaries and family rules

  • Enhancing conflict resolution strategies

  • Understanding each person’s role within the family

  • Strengthening the family’s ability to function as a whole

By treating the family unit as the client, we work together to create healthier, more adaptive relationships—both individually and collectively.

Pricing: We take insurance, but in case you are paying out of pocket, pricing is below.

$175 / 60 min - intake/session price are the same

Art Therapy Intensives

Intensives typically focus on one specific area and target that area with therapeutic interventions that have a longer time duration (i.e., 90+ minutes rather than 50-60 minutes) with more frequent sessions (i.e., 2-3 times per week rather than once per week), but over a decreased time frame (i.e., 6-8 weeks rather than 12-16 weeks) to jump start clients’ therapeutic recovery

Purpose:
The purpose of an Art Therapy Intensive is to treat trauma more extensively and intensely, within a timeframe that is more suitable for clients, and more sensitive to each client’s individual and unique needs. With this, client and counselor are not bound to the typical clinical hour but are encouraged to extend sessions beyond the limitations of the usual fifty-minute session, to optimize processing, delve deeper into what brings the client into counseling, adequately address topics that may arise during the session, and to work through barriers that may be blocking clients’ improvement.

Pricing:
$250
for 90 minutes - Art Therapy Intensives are variably priced on a sliding scale and are therefore based on the specific needs of each client.
